Is this online teleprompter free? Does it record me?

Free with no sign-up. It only scrolls text: it does not record video or audio, use your camera, or save your script anywhere. Record with a camera app you already trust while this page scrolls.

What is mirror mode for?

Mirror mode flips the text for physical teleprompter glass, so it reads correctly in the reflection. On a normal screen the flipped text looks reversed, which is expected; turn it off for direct reading.

How does the speaking-time estimate work?

Your word count is divided by a calm speaking pace of 150 words per minute, the same convention as this site's reading-time tools. Your real pace will differ, so rehearse once and adjust the scroll speed.

Can I pause the scrolling without the mouse?

Yes. Press the Spacebar outside the script box to play or pause, the arrow keys to change speed, and use fullscreen for a distraction-free stage.

Is my script uploaded or stored?

No. Your script is processed only in this browser tab and is gone when you close it.
